dezzo
Hi all, Just wondering if it is possible to change a tempo mid-way through the timeline, then back again? It may sound a bit odd, but can it be done?! Can't find any reference to it on here. Thanks for any help

dezzo
Hi David, thanks for your quick reply... Ah yes, very good point. I've added the information to my signature, so hopefully it shows up with my posts from now on! Thanks for any help
David Nahmani
Thanks! Now that I know the Logic version I can answer your question! At the top of the track list, click "Global Tracks". Open the tempo track. Double-click (away from the line - you don't want a hand tool, but a pointer tool) to insert a tempo change. Drag that up or down to your new tempo. Repeat for another tempo change to go back to the previous tempo.
dezzo
Excellent, that's nailed it. Didn't even think that would be possible! Thanks for the clear instructions Davd, much appreciated.
Addni
can also be done trough the list window (top right) and then the Tempo List. There you can press the create, and then put in the correct location and the target tempo. I prefer to do it this way
