newb
Hey All! I'm brand new here, so please forgive me if I do something unacceptable. I'm trying to create a decent David Foster Tines sound using the resources in LP8. I need that clean tines/bell-like hit at the top. I've also tried using NI Elektrik Piano. No luck. Any ideas. Anybody got a channel strip? Thanks for your help.
camillo jr
You might try the ES2 for that tiney e piano sound. Look in the Keys sections. Then layer that with an acoustic piano. On second thought, I likely have several legacy ES2 instruments that you don't, so here's a few that might get you in the ball park. Again, try layering them with a "real" piano sound. You'll have to put that on it's own channel but you can copy over the part from one to the other to see how it's working. You can also enable both channels to record at the same time via group settings. ES2 Foster E Pianos.zip
camillo jr
Ha! After collecting those, I found out that 3 are exactly the same. Well, these might get you started even so.

newb
Well, I think I've come up with a sound that comes close to the Tines sound I'm looking for. It takes two channels to do it with the same midi data on both channels. Here are the two channel strips that should recreate for you the sound that I have: Tines Ch2.cst Tines Ch1.cst
