calvin006
I'm trying to use the rotary encoders (knobs) of an M-Audio Axiom keyboard to control synth parameters on a third party soft synth (specifically, IK Multimedia's SampleMoog). I thought I would be able to use Automation Quick Access, but the synth parameters I want to control (oscillators, effects, etc) are not listed as options to automate. So I guess my first question would be: is there a way to make Logic aware of additional parameters to make them available for automation? Failing that, I would be happy with controlling live. Some of the keyboard knobs automatically map to a few of the knobs on the GUI soft synth, so there is some communication going on between hardware and software. I just can't figure out how to assign my own specific map for controlling the knobs. Maybe this isn't possible with third party software? Is this possible with any Logic synths? Thanks for any thoughts. Logic Studio 9/13" Macbook Pro/2.26 GHz/4 GB/Apogee One
David Nahmani
The 3rd party developer mayn not have made certain parameter available.... You should try this: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=
