TRUN Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Guys, currently working with a DUAL G4 with 1.5 GB ram in Logic Pro 7.1.. tracking to an internal AUDIO ONLY ATA drive...Can barely get track counts above 32...disk I/O meter is at 85%... will switching to a FIREWIRE/RAID 0 striped external drive array (16mb cache or 32 mb cache) help me to improve my track counts and keep the DISK I/O from peaking, or is it just time for me to spring for the new MACPRO.....thanks for the help........
