bdeep
Thinking about adding more powered plugs. I have the UAD-1 and it sounds great. Not as much "juice" dsp-wise as I had hoped for. That being said...is anyone using Duende or liquid mix? 34 tracks of SSL EQ's and comps sound mighty appealing. any feedback appreciated. thanks B
sondod
I'm about to add the Liquid Mix to my setup. I've heard some initial 'new product issues' but they all seem to have been delt with. I'm also looking at the Duende down the line, because who could ignore SSL. I just wish it had a hardware interface. The best comments I've heard back from the Liquid Mix have been about how that dedicated hardware just plain rocks.
texdc
In short, the Duende rocks. It's only 32 channels, though. And I hear that there are still some unresolved issues with the UAD cards. Hit the SSL support site for more info. I don't have any UA stuff, so the Duende has been one of the best purchases I've made this year. It's way too cheap for what it is, imho.
