Salt Water Environment ?

Hello, all,

I might be renting a boat at a marina in Ketchikan, AK,

for the summer --- I work with a jingle -writer- singer friend -

who is working at the Airport up there---

he has a 1 yr old iMac - with Logic 8 -- and he's concerned about me working on it on the boat with salt water and humidity -- ---------

I might be getting an older laptop to work on pre-stuff , then use his set-up at his house for the final work ---

but- any ideas/ concerns about salt / humidity ?
