buddhistmarty
Dear Sound Masters from Ten directions I recently got a peculiar way to mix an original mono vocal track. All I got is one mic, so the output must be mono. I duplicate the mono track and pan 2 track extreme left and right. I delay the right track a few mini seconds. I got wider feel. But the middle seem less solid. therefore I duplicate one more mono track pan as extreme middle. so the wider and richer feel I got. BUT! where should i BEST put/time this mono middle track? same as the right-panned or left panned track? or sometimes between the extreme left and right? Scott Jackson
Try eliminating (mute for test) the middle track and pan your L & R less extreme i.e. closer to center (maybe around +15 or 20 & -15 or 20).
dkgross
you also may want to leave it as one mono track and play with Logic's Vocal Transformer and Speech Enhancer Plug ins.
