Captain Beardy
'Ello again fine folks,.. I'm getting near to the point of burning a test CD of my mix, and I was wondering what the best mastering software would be to use ? I've read a little about Waveburner, but I don't know of any others,... My Mac is a G5 Quad OSX 4.4 Logic Pro 7.2,.... Thanks in advance folks,..... Cheers,..... Dan. David Nahmani
I master stuff in Logic, using the Energizer, the multiband compressor or the compressor, EQ... http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/ looks pretty 'sweet' but I've never actually tried it (there is a free trial download). Captain Beardy
Ah,.. Cheers once again David mate,... I'll have a good look at this one,.....( Seems less expensive than Waveburner too ) I was wondering wat the difference was between all the comps, EQs and such in Logic and these so called mastering programs,...... It just looks like I need the red book ID marker and burning facility that these programs have,..... Thanks again for your advice 8) Very much obliged,...... Dan. Oh, and speaking of saving some quid..... here's a free limiter! http://www.yohng.com/w1limit.html
