TRUN
here's my situation... I want to upgrade to snow leopard.... I have an upcoming project to mix in Logic.. I have a clone of my current leopard system on an external drive.... My question is, can I upgrade to Snow Leopard with a new internal drive, and still boot my system from the Leopard external drive for the mix, and still have access to all of my plug ins in the Leopard world as I'm working now? Didn't want to fully commit to snow leopard and find out in the mix that some of the plugs are not 64 bit compatible.. My plugs are Waves, Logic, Universal Audio, PSP, Sound Toys and McDSP.. any guidance would be appreciated......
triplets
Running Logic from an external? Bad idea if you ask me. You got two options: Take the plunge, install SL and all your software on the new drive Wait and use Leopard with your working setup. I would wait, finish your upcoming mix, and then pick a time when you know you can troubleshoot if you happen to have issues with Snow Leopard.
