(recording a drum kit) and i want each drum/cymbal to be its own track, and im not to sure on how i do that. i am using the following equipment... David Nahmani Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Put the microphones in front of the different drum/cymbals, connect them to your audio interface inputs, let's say for example you have 8 mics plugged into inputs 1 through 8. In Logic, click the "+" button at the top of the track list and create 8 tracks set to "input 1", selecting the "ascending" check box and the "record enable" checkbox. Press record.
