Creating Arpeggio

Recommended Posts

Well, if you know how to set up an arpeggiator in Logic, it seems like it would be a case of getting the right speed (quite fast, 32nd notes maybe) and note length, the right chords (experiment) and the right synth patch. This sounds to me like a couple of square waves stacked at different octaves with a little cutoff modulation from an envelope, easily done in the ES1 or ES2.

Then it'a a matter of automating the cutoff filter and resonance of the synth, to get the 'movement' of the sound. Finally, it sounds like they have automated a send to a reverb, as well as automating the settings of a flanger. Maybe a touch of synced delay as well?

If you need any more detail on any of that stuff, hit me up.
