fader8
Hey tharealdi, You will need to use the MIDI learn feature of the Key Commands window. Open it and take a look at the "Sample Edit Window" section. These are what you'll need. You will not be able to assign a knob to adjust loop start unless the MPD can be set up to transmit a fixed message when you twist it left and a different message when twisted right. Not all controllers can be set that way. Even then, you'll be limited to assigning it to the Set Selection Start to Previous (and Next) Transient. So its granularity will depend on how many transient markers are showing in the sample editor. Buttons might be better for this, and you could assign a pair of buttons perhaps to Increase/Decrease Number of Transients, as well. How well this may work for you in actual use is another matter!
