bugscoe
I have a bunch of my own samples, wav and aiff files, that I'm having trouble getting Logic 9 to see in the library/media browser. Where do I need to place my folder of samples in order for them to show up so I can drop them into the Exs and Ultrabeat from the browser? Thanks
Mehdi
Drag and dropping the folder from a finder window to the loop browser should work just fine. BTW you can drag to EXS or UB directly from the finder as well.
bugscoe
Hey thanks. I found that putting them in my username>Music>Logic worked as I was looking for it to do. Not sure if this is the "proper" folder (or if that even matters as long as it's working) but I believe I'm good to go with easy dropping and dragging. Mehdi
If it works for you then fine for me. Though it sounds weird to me as the audio files appearing in the Loop Library are by default stored in the /Library/Audio/Apple Loops (or pointed to their original location if they've been dragged and dropped to the library). Actually the User/music/logic folder is where Logic projects are saved by default. Also worth to know that in the media page, there's a browser tab which allows you to browse your computer just like any finder window (and play, drag files from there). So no real need to move anything anywhere from its ciurrent place.
bugscoe
Yes, the browser tab is what I missed. I put my sample folder back where I had, with the Apple Loops. Thanks!
