M.DraQla
I just recently found out how to properly install the axiom with logic and I am having a bit of trouble. Before when it wasn't setup with direct link there were no assignments so I could assign any fader or encoder to do anything I wanted and there was no conflict. However now when I want to for example assign an encoder to a function in Massive it tells me it is assigned to another function(one of the main mixer functions). Also I installed the automaps from M-audio for all of the default instruments in logic but whenever I select a track with that instrument it doesn't seem to map them at all and the axiom still only controls the mixer. Is there something I have to do to make it control the instruments and be able to learn new commands without conflict? Any help is appreciated. David Nahmani
If you don't want conflict, you don't want to use both DirectLink and manual mapping at the same time. Pick one or the other, otherwise you'll have to deal with the conflicts.
M.DraQla
Ok but what about the automapping? Do you have any idea why that wouldn't work?
David Nahmani
No idea, no. I'm using an Axiom Pro here, and the mapping is quite different (HyperControl vs DirectLink). Hopefully someone with DirectLink experience will chime in and help you.
