MentalSanityOff
In Logic 9, is it possible to control varispeed with an external controller? I'm using a Euphonix MC Control, hoping to use the scrub wheel (for those who are familiar) to increase or decrease the varispeed % during playback. The scrub wheel jumps back to its neutral position when released (much like a pitch bend wheel), making it ideal for use with varispeed, but I can't seem to figure out a way to hook that up. Any suggestions for what to do within Logic are helpful too, even if you're not familiar with the Euphonix MC Control. Thanks!
David Nahmani
No, this is not possible in Logic 9. Even if you manually change the varispeed amount during playback, you'll get a gap (silence) in the playback.
MentalSanityOff
Gotcha, so i think i already know the answer to this question, but can you control varispeed with such a controller when playback is stopped?
buzwah
You can use the Speed fade in the inspector just below the Quantize area. As far as I know it is only an after effect rather than a real time one. Although I haven't tried it myself.

MentalSanityOff
Are there keyboard shortcuts available in logic, perhaps? (I run 8 so I can't really find out from home)
