varick
I bought a 250G glyph to store and run my audio files for Logic pro 6. How do I get Logic to read the files from the Glyph and not my hard drive, where up till now I've been running them from. Please help, I was up all night trying to figure this one out. Also, how do I get the audio to record and save the files automatically to the glyph?
David Nahmani
Move your project folders to the hard drive you want to use them on. If you do not use Logic's project capability then go to Audio > Set Audio Record path to make sure you still record your new audio in the project folders. varick
Thanks David, So, then, do I not only store audio on the glyph but the actual song file as well? If I have this clear...If I open the song file from the glyph it will get the corresponding audio from the glyph. But, if I open that same song file on my harddrive it will look for it on my harddrive? Then do I have to resave each project to the glyph drive or can I just drag the song files to the audio files that are already there? I wish the techie side of me was as intuitive as the musician side of me thanks again!
