karp47 Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 When I am viewing hyper information I should just be able to shift click within that hyper region and then click again to convert all automation to the square automation (no curves etc.) Although whenever I click it shows the square automation for a split second and then just creates a node, is this a bug in 9.1.3 or am I doing something wrong? ruari Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 I may have misunderstood what you're asking but, you can make "square" automation tracks by highlighting an area of the track with the Marquee tool then dragging the line within that area to the required amount. karp47 Posted February 28, 2011 Author Share Posted February 28, 2011 Not quite, basically imagine you have a whole track automated within hyperdraw, so plenty of different nodes with varying values. You should be able to shift click within the region and then click again, and all of the curves/slopes are converted into instantaneous value changes (square automation) For some reason logic isn't allowing me to do this, it flashes for a split second with the square automation but then just creates a node wherever I have clicked.
