medics Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I like to group beats, such as kick and snare output is Bus 1, so i can then side chain my percussive elements to them to make them come out in the mix better. I also like to group all the drums on to one sub mix Aux that i can EQ/compress as a whole. I do this by making Aux 1's output Bus 2, and then making all the other beat channels (i.e. not kick and snare as their channel outputs are all Bus 1) Bus 2 also. Can anyone see any problem with making Aux 1's output Bus 2? like could this cause any type of latency or a similar problem? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
