ojan327 Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 I have been trying to get an echo effect, but only in certain parts of an audio region. after i set the particular delay plug-in, if I bypass it with automation throughout the track except for the particular parts that I want to echo, it doesn't work, because the delay will be cut off before it barely kicks in. so what I have been doing is carefully cutting out those regions that I want to echo, and dragging them to another track with a delay plug-in so they echo properly and the original audio region continues simultaneously as desired... I want to know if it is possible to leave the audio region in tact, and get certain parts to echo, with the echo persisting along with the audio that follows.. it would make my arrange window a lot cleaner!
