Logic Pro 11 will be released any time now!

Firewire emergency

Recommended Posts

So I've been having issues with my Firepod and Apple's firewire driver. Pops and clicks during sessions under 10.3.9, and system freezes using Logic under 10.4.x (only after hitting stop after recording a track). This has been repeatable on three seperate Macs.

I thought I would be clever and install Apple's Firewire SDK 23 (from the developer site). Now OSX doesn't see the Firepod at all.

I actually just bought a new interface which will be in Monday, and this would have worked out great since I didn't have anything scheduled for the weekend. But now it looks like I have a last minute session tomorrow.

Long (pointless) story short, is there any way to roll back to the drivers from the before time - just to get through the day? Any help here is GREATLY appreciated.
