OH SO L3G1T
On one song i'm working on, a guitar amp was used on the vocals with the gain turned all the way down and most of the harsh frequencies removed through EQ, but there are still harsh sounds when the vocals are played through speakers. I've tried to eliminate all the harsh frequencies but no matter what I do they are still there. Is there anyway to get rid of these harsh sounds/compress vocals to remove these? Thanks! buzwah
If it was recorded with the Amp then your stuffed basically. You're trying to unbake a cake. (which wouldn't taste too good anyway)
OH SO L3G1T
nope just a usb microphone-the guitar amp was a logic plug-in
buzwah
By "harsh" do you mean the vocal is distorted? If so there's not much you can do to fix a clipped recording apart from buy Plug ins designed to do that. Izotope do one that can reduce/eliminate clipping. OH SO L3G1T
not distorted but when there are "hard-e's" or "hard-a's," the frequency hurts the ears
David Nahmani
You could try something like this? Using the Logic Compressor as a De-Esser
