guitarguy4034
I'm trying to create an EXS instrument that holds a bunch of kicks I've compiled. When I import them, however, some kicks become horribly distorted while others sound fine. I am unchecking the pitch option when importing the sounds and they are all .wav files. Interestingly, when I export the exact same samples from audacity and then import them to the EXS, they sound perfect... Anyone know why? David Nahmani
Weird - how do you import them? Is the meter on the EXS24 channel strip showing clipping?
guitarguy4034
I'm dragging the .wav files to the edit part of the EXS and I don't believe it's showing any clipping :/

involver
Perhaps they are 32bit WAVs? Logic only supports up to 24bit filetypes...
