polive
Hi guys, I'd be so glad if someone can help: I'm at a really advanced stage in my Logic 9.1.3 project and the project keeps crashing whenever I either copy+drag an audio region to a new audio track or (as I was trying as a workaround) bounce the region. Logic can't seem to handle a new audio track OR the region being copied. I've just moved from 32 bit to 64 bit and it's just as bad in both. Many thanks if anyone can suggest what's up or how I can fix it.
triplets
Any particular reason you are on 10.6.4?
polive
My fault - I hadn't realised I needed to update that bit in my signature. Issue since resolved though! Thanks.
David Nahmani
My fault - I hadn't realised I needed to update that bit in my signature. Issue since resolved though! Glad to hear your issue is resolved. Do you mind telling us how you resolved it, or what steps you took? So that if someone with the same problem searches the forum in the future and stumbles upon that thread, they can see how you got rid of this problem... thanks! polive
Unfortunately I have no idea why it started working again. I think the machine was crashing for some other reason, possibly related to a Native Instruments plugin and 64 bit. I'm also aware I am pushing this machine to its very limits - possibly 64 bit allowed it to use the full 8 GB of Ram... Sorry, I doubt this is very helpful! Anyway thanks for your assistance.
