kurtz Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 hi there, I'm new. I have just been sent the master audio files for a remix for a band I am desperate to impress called 'Howling Bells'. There are an inordinate amount of audio files (3 dvds worth) but this is not my problem. My problem is that when I drag the ones I want from my hard drive into the arrange window in Logic, the tempo and pitch of the file has dropped significantly. In this state the files are unusable (except for the kick drum - sounding fat!) and I really need to get started on it. this never usually happens, and I have a feeling it is something very simple. can anyone shed any light? thank you, sebastian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check the sample rate of the audio files in the Audio Window (Audio > Audio Window, then View > Show File Info), and make sure you choose the corresponding sample rate for your song: Audio > Sample Rate > ...
