Torus Biglane
Metric Halo only works with Mac. But very nice interfaces they have ! I am very happy with it.
David Nahmani
RME Fireface is your best bet. One step up from the MOTU stuff.
Jorge Montesino
Hello my friends, First of all thank you very much for your fast reply. I see that the RME is the best option unfortunatly my budget is only limited to $600 for now...i am a rookie right now...Do you think that for a beginner the MOTU 8Pre would be a good choice? Eventhough the quality of sound that the MOTU can offer is good right? THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE. Jorge Montesino
David Nahmani
Yes, MOTU is good stuff. If that's all you can afford, go for it!

Dr.Frank
Jorge i am currently using a MOTU ultralite and i am really happy with it. Installation is straight forward and it runs perfectly. never had any problems. The Cue mix is great. For $549 you get a pretty good audio firewire interface to start with.
