guavadude
There have been a few post about custom colors, but how do I restore the default colors? Some of my color palette has gone black and I'd just like to get back to the stock colors. I"ve trashed the prefs with no luck. thanks
arafel
As far as I know there is no way to easily restore the default color palette, as its not stored in pref. see this thread: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=7309&highlight=colors Changing them will have to be done manually... Sux. Please find attached an image of the default colors in LP7, just took it as a screen shot for ya.
guavadude
thanks for that... does anyone know what would cause some of the colors to default to black? It was strange in that the background grey color of each track in the arrange window also turned black. I restarted and then some of my colors were screwed up, but at least the problem in the arrange window went away. If I reisntall Logic will the colors return to default? Were are these color prefs saved....are they part of the program prefs? thanks Kevin
guavadude
Hey Arafel, I went back and reread that link and had missed the tip about using the magnifying glass to copy the colors. Thanks again for the image of the defaults, that got me back. Still, if anyone knows why the colors went away in the first place, I'd like to know. Ghost in the machine.... arafel
Glad you got your colors back... As far as what caused the original 'color shift'... Ghost in the Machine? Good guess. Out of all the apps that I've toiled away on (mostly graphics & photo stuff, some cad), IMHO Audio apps are the tempermental lot. I've never rebooted so much in my life. But its a lot of fun so worth it. FYI - I always get glitches (and sometimes a freeze) if I turn my M-Audio Quattro (POC), on after starting Logic.
