nathanhall
I have a strange problem that I've read about in some other threads on this BB, but was unable to find an answer. Whenever I bounce one or more tracks in Logic, the resulting file is not as loud as the original mix according to my metering. A song that peaks at -1 db during playback will peak several db lower after I've bounced to a stereo file, even though I have the faders at unity gain. Even if I take one track and bounce it, the resulting file is of a lower volume. All of Logic's faders are set at unity (output, master volume) and my pan law is set to 0 db. Obviously, I would much prefer that whatever I hear and the levels I read during a real-time bounce are equal to the levels from the resulting mix file. Am I missing a specific setting or is this a known bug? Thanks, Nathan
