camillo jr
I've recently upgraded to LP 7.2.3 and I see in my loop browser that many of the loops appear twice. Does this mean that I now have all my loop content as doubles?? I also upgrade to Tiger while I was at it, so that might be the source of it too. Dunno. Anyone? camillo jr
Alright, I see them now. For some reason my first search for "appleloops" in spotlight didn't turn up anything. So I've got them twice but one is about 30 mb larger. Can I safely delete the old loops? If I have a project that uses those, will it default to the new ones? Or should I just toss the new ones? And don't get me started on the Jingles. WTF!?! A GB of that stuff. Why?
ski
Camillo, don't depend on Spotlight to accurately tell you what's on your system. At first I thought it was the bee's knees of search engines, but no longer. It's become a lying POS bit of software. And re-indexing doesn't seem to help. After a recent bout with trying to locate files that I just knew were on my system but not found by Spotlight, I went to the Apple site to see if there any posts about similar problems... Sure enough, wall-to-wall complaints.
