bammbammrawks
Hello out there, I am tring to set up my Korg MS 2000 BR to recieve midi clock (tempo) from Logic Pro. Just when I think I've got it ... no blinking light on the MS2KBR. If anyone would, I could use some step by step instruction on this one. Cheers BAMM and P.S. I really want to say a big thank you for the help on my post in the past ... so far so good on fixing all my problems. You lot rule, to be sure. David Nahmani
Are you sure Logic is sending MIDI Clock? First make sure of that. In File > Song Settings > Synchronization, MIDI pane.
bammbammrawks
Yes Transmit midi clock destination is cheched and plug 1 (my presonus firepod is selected) Should I I transmit MTC or any of the other as well ??
David Nahmani
No, not necessary. Then the problem lies in your Korg. Make sure it is on a "slave" mode... and make sure it can, indeed, slave to MIDI Clock?
bammbammrawks
I have the korg set to recieve an external midi clock and usally that's all it takes. Is there something I need to do in the environment?
David Nahmani
No, as long as Logic is set to send MIDI Clock to the correct destination, that's all you need. Check that you have the correct port?
bammbammrawks
Thank you. Problem solved. It was a bloody bad midi cable. Cheers BAMM
