USS_Internet
Hello everyone! I am trying to run Logic Pro 8 with a Mackie D8B digital mixer and an M-Audio Lightbridge interface, but I have run into a bit of a snag. I have got signal from Logic to the Mixer just fine, but when I try to route the tracks in Logic to individual channels on the mixer, Logic will only let me route them in stereo rather than both stereo or mono. For example, I want track one to go to just Output 1 but the only options that Logic is giving me is Output 1-2, Output 3-4 and so on. Can anyone help me out with this? David Nahmani
Logic 9 has mono outputs. Pre Logic 9, you use the pan knob to route to mono outputs. fader8
Alternatively, you can use an I/O plugin on each track you want to send to the external mixer. Just set the output and not the input. That gets you around those pesky pan laws messing with your level, too!
