THE HIPPIE
I'm new using Logic, i've been using garageband for quite awhile now though but my question is just basic. When i want to record electric guitar while clicking the software option it brings me to alot of guitar sounds that i want to chose. I chose the twangy electric or the distorted strat but i only hear clean sounds. No matter what kind of guitar sound i chose in the library it only produces clean guitar. How can i make it sound like it supposed to? Did i miss something i should do?

CarlosUnderground
I recommend starting from scratch. Create an audio channel and insert a Pedal board and Amp Desighner. Try everything out, get to know them, they are you're friends. Also Bitcrusher is cool, I use it alot. The Tape Deley is exelent. Happy chording

THE HIPPIE
Record enable the track or press the Input Monitoring Button.Do you mean the Auto Input Monitoring found in Options?
xgman
Input monitoring on the track. When you create an audio track, it asks if you want rec enabled and input monitoring, make sure you select the track to hear the processed audio. You may just be hearing system audio otherwise. tubadude
Just to be sure; you have the volume on your guitar to max, right? And you're sure you didn't bypass the "guitar amp" plug-in, or the "pedal board" plug-in? Edit: Also, you can try the "guitar sounds" template, and see if it works on the different sounds there.
