curtischip
hey guys... I am wondering if it is possible to run two motu 828's (origional not mkII) with logic 7 and a G5 tower. There are 2 firewire ports on the G5 of course, and just one on the 828..So no dice w/ the a powerbook but seems like it should work. I know its sort of an antiquated interface at this point and the mkII is a huge improvement.. But have you seen what the standard 828's are going for on ebay these days!.. I got mine when they first came out and it was nearly $800.. ive

gsilbers
i think u just can use the aggregate device in coreaudio and you can set 2 together. 828 are ok,. they just lack that fancy screen and diferent digital inputs.
David Nahmani
Yes, you shouldn't have any problem as long as you run OS X4 (Tiger).
