JOB
I'm not sure how to phrase this question exactly. In Logic 8, when editing the start time of an audio file in Sample Editor, the audio region would stay locked to the grid in the arrange window and the audio would move within the region. in Logic 9, when editing the start time of an audio file, the start time of the region moves in the arrange window, and the audio within the region stays in place. This creates an extra step: first I must line up the audio in the region, then i must line up the regions to the arrange grid (generally micro adjustments for recording latency). How do I set this back to the Logic 8 setting, where the audio regions remain locked to the grid and the audio moves within the region when you're editing it in Sample Editor? Thanks! David Nahmani
In the sample editor, play with the following setting: Edit > Lock arrange position when moving region anchor.
