gritzildino
I am looking to upgrade my 13'' Macbook A1181 Intel Core2Duo purchased in 2009, to the new macbook 15'' with the quad core for some more processing power in my productions.. I am running logic Express with some soft synth I have purchased in the past 2 yrs. I was planning to sell My Macbook Ebay style (to get the most for it). And just wondering How I can transfer all plugins and Logic to the new computer? I have loads of loops and apple loops saved will they transfer?? Will I have to re-install logic?? What if I can't find the installation CD's? Also I have an external HD USB ... I was planning on saving everything on that.
David Nahmani
Yes, you have to reinstall Logic. If you can't find your install DVDs, contact apple, give them your license number, and they'll send you new ones. Aside from that, just track all the files you want to transfer, copy them to your HD and you'll copy them from that HD to the new machine.
