ski
I record-enabled three audio instrument tracks with the idea of playing them all simultaneously (all EXS24). As I recorded the part I heard tons of digital crackling and glitching. But the part plays back fine with no glitches whatsoever. Wondering why this might be happening... -=sKi=-
David Nahmani
Sounds like typical CPU working too hard (meaning I/O Buffer size setting too low in your driver settings). Best way to check? Open Audio > System Performance, and try raising the I/O buffer until the crackling goes away. If it doesn't go away, then .. that's not the problem! ski
Thanks David. It now occurs to me... I wonder if the same thing would happen if I were to create a new instrument in the environment and cable it to the three audio instruments simultaneously... Well, time to 'speriment with that and your suggestion as well. Thanks again. -=sKi=-
David Nahmani
I'm sure the same thing would happen. But hey, you can still try.. and let us know!
