I have an extra imac that would probably do very well hosting Reason. Thing is - really happy with 32 bit not 64 bit - so I see my options as such: 1) Reason Standalone on iMac - can I trigger the sounds via midi channel within logic just like a stand alone Kontakt computer? 2) Run re-wire on this computer (my sequencer) but its 32 bit so I get one core right? 3) ?? I've never tried to use Reason with it.. but I think it would work. http://www.viennaensemblepro.com/ If nothing else..
