hooligan18
Hey Guys, have a question about keyboard (M audio midi recording) and logic. When I try to record a keyboard track on Logic, the result is always out of sync. (some people might call it delay) For some reasons, when I play too many notes, the track starts to play out of tempo and it is definitely not playing the tempo I use when I was recording. I first thought my computer was too slow or the soundcard was bad (Imac 2.8 core i5) but when I use Garage Band to record my track, I never have this out of tempo problem. Can someone please help me ?? Thank you
n6smith
Does this happen with every Instrument plugin or only certain ones? Do you have an FX plugins inserted when this occurs and if so, which ones. This sounds like a latency issue which is why I am asking these questions.. Also, what OS version... and what version of Logic?

Also, what OS version... and what version of Logic? I don't have any plugin inserted. I believe it does happen with every instrument but it is definitely more obvious when I play the piano. My OS version is X 10.6.4 and I am using logic pro 9. I also think it is probably a latency problem. I have set my buffer down to 64 and use the low latency button but none of these solutions seem to work. the funny thing is that my recordings on Garage Band are perfectly in sync... thanks for your help
