Phil.c
Is it possible with Logic 7 to stretch an audio note from around 0.5 second to 4 seconds?
David Nahmani
Not in one move, but you could use the Time and Pitch machine to stretch it to an extent, then take the stretched result and stretch it even more. Obviously, the sound quality will suffer a lot, and you may not like the results. For very good sound quality you'd need to purchase http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/radius/ which will do what you need in a single operation - it's compatible with Logic 7.2.1 and above. Phil.c
Thanks David, yes it is a big stretch and I thought the qualiy would suffer. As for the program to do this, it looks great but a tad expensive for one note Phil
David Nahmani
I know, it's quite expensive - but worth it IF you can justify the purchase. It might be a better idea for you to upgrade to Logic 9 so you can use Flex to do it.
Phil.c
I think you mentioned before that upgrading to 9 would'nt work with my OS.
