weaver123
Hi, I wonder if you could help. When i'm writing basslines or melodies etc i often record a few notes into a region 1st, like the main section, and then record some extra smaller notes in the gaps on a second take. Obviously this records as two seperate regions which overlaps, which is fine as i can select them both and glue them together and then i can see all the midi parts in one region. Is there a way of just having it automatically glue when i record a new take instead of having to do it manually. I like to visually see the first midi region as i play extra parts in, this would be really handy if someone knew the setting or a way round this? Thanks Brad
David Nahmani
Brad, Under Settings > Recording, set 'Overlapping Recordings' to 'Merge with selected regions'. Then make sure the region is selected before recording your "2nd take".
