blogan
The message I get when I try to drop an .aif file into my arrange window is, "insufficient access privileges for operation" Result = -5000. What does this mean and why can't use this .aif file from another persons logic?
Eric Cardenas
Have you saved your project first?
David Nahmani
It means you don't have sufficient permissions to write to this file, for example to write the waveform overview graphic into the file's header, which Logic may attempt to do. As Eric suggested, saving your project first, with default asset settings will remedy that by making a local copy of the audio file(s) used by the project, giving you full access to them.
