I currently have the demo for Phatmatic, and although it is a bit buggy and the interface is a little awkard, it's functionality is AMAZING when it comes to dealing with "slices". It's everything I ever wanted in ReCycle sans the sloppy/buggy interface. ReCycle is great to work with if you want to export all the sliced stuff out to other hardware/software devices. However, Phatmatics implementations as a plug in allow it to be used more effeciently and it inspires more creativity. Has anyone had luck exporting the slices from Phatmatic? The manual says to hold down a series of keys and drag the little MIDI icon to the desktop but I can't seem to get this to work. What are your experiences?
