Logic Help on Midi instrument use

i want to change my keys..i mean when i play D on my midi player i want to hear a E ..but my midi controller can not support itself so i want to manually do it on logic ? is there is any way to do that on login?

 

i am using a logic pro 9.1

Use the transposition parameter in the MIDI Thru settings in the Inspector:

 

 

Keep in mind that any notes you record won't look like they sound in the piano roll or other MIDI editors, unless you select the region and go to MIDI > Region parameters > Normalize region parameters (Control+N).

 

If you want to edit the MIDI Thru settings again, make sure no region is selected in the arrange.

 

Also keep in mind that every region you record will adopt the values you have currently set in the MIDI Thru settings.
