Clicking in Bar Ruler with a movie - double starts

Here's something that's happening which is pretty annoying.

 

I'm using Logic 9.1.7 with OS 10.6.8 on a Mac Pro with 12 gigs of ram

 

I have a DV movie loaded. When I double click in the bar ruler to start playback it starts, goes back to the start point and starts again. If I single click in the bar ruler and press play it plays correctly. I've confirmed this only happens when I have a movie loaded. Sure, it's not as much of a nuisance as having to reload in 32 bit to add audio to a movie (oh apple, why have you forsaken us?) but it's still irritating.

 

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
