boafzilla
1. Bring into the arrange window the audio region/sample to be sliced. Time stretch if needed. 2. Select the scissors tool. 3. Hold Option until you have a small "+" next to the scissors cursor. http://i.imgur.com/aOEop.gif 4. While clicking and holding your mouse on the audio region, drag your cursor to the position where you would like the first slice to appear (in my case, the first 1/8th note). Make sure you see the faint gray line snapping to the bar/beat/division where the slice should appear. http://i.imgur.com/GNFCt.gif 5. Voila! 16 equal samples. http://i.imgur.com/sDvkb.gif From here, you can easily drag into an EXS24 (make sure to build as contiguous zones). http://i.imgur.com/9EcJG.gif Hope this helps!
