Control Surface and faderjumps ?

I´m using a Novation SL MK2 in advanced mode (without automap). I have assigned one dedicated fader to control the active volume fader of a random selected track. When switching track, the Logic fader will jump to the position of the physical fader of the Novation when I move it. Is there a way to make Logic wait for the physical fader to reach the value of Logic fader before it moves??

I have put Logic and the Novation in pickup mode, but so far no luck.
