frankie_teardrop
I'm looking at a usb footswitch and wondering if it could be configured to work with Logic 9 as program assignable. It's not a dedicated Midi device geared towards musicians however... What do you think? USB 3 Pedals - $27 http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-Triple-Action-Foot-Switch-Pedal-Control-Keyboard-/320927559891?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab8c5f0d3#ht_3831wt_1142 Maybe you own one yourself? Let me know. Thanks.
shivermetimbers
I could see a use for that. Pedal 1 for record Play the guitar Screw up Pedal 2 to Stop/rewind and delete the bad take. Pedal 3 for Jump to marker X which displays a message that it is time to take a break.
David Nahmani
It should work, but until you try there's no guarantee. But if you program the footswitches to send a keystroke, and program that keystroke to be a Logic key command, that should work.
frankie_teardrop
Great! Sounds convincing enough. I'll leave an update if i'm successful. Ps. Thanks for publishing your Logic Pro 9 book and what led to myself ultimately receiving the Certified Pro Level One Certificate.
