Updated Logic to version 9.1.7 (Now Logic freezes/hangs as soon as you make one mouse click inside the program.) (at this point I'm still on Snow Leopard). 5. Installed OSX 10.8 ML 6. Logic crashes once again. 7. Frustrated and really pissed off Any suggestions? -Michael
n6smith
Are you installing any audio drivers? If so, are you sure you are using the right ones for the version of OS X / Logic that you are installing?
micha3l R
No, im only using the display audio right now during the install. I will install my drivers for my interface when I install pro tools...

micha3l R
Eric, Sorry, I missed your post (only one computer here!). I ended up reinstalling everything one more time and it seems to be working fine. I didn't get a chance to save a crash report though. Do you have any ideas of what it might have been? Eric Cardenas
Sorry but I don't have a clue! Did you make a clean install of the OS and Logic? Worst case scenario is that something is wrong with your hard drive. Let's hope it's not that. I'm glad you got it working.
Gravity Jim
5. Installed OSX 10.8 ML -Michael As my mechanic is fond of saying, "Well, there's yer problem right there." Logic alone may be compatible with ML, but in my experience, there are dozens of oddball incompatibilities with a lot of other stuff. Stick with Snow Leopard or Lion until this shakes out. I tried everything to stabilize my Logic system under ML - and several times thought I had it licked - but nothing worked but going back to Lion, which has been rock solid every day. Even with three different control surfaces plugged in to Logic, it runs without a hiccup.
