Device “Automap Mixer” is assigned to MIDI Port “Automap Log

how can this be rectified ? i have just today installed impuls 25 midi keyboard with automap software, updated to latest version

 

it gives the following information after giving me that error message

 

Please ensure that all MIDI interfaces are connected and switched on. If this is the case, please check the MIDI port setting of device “Automap Mixer”. If this is correct, click “Reset All MIDI Drivers” in Preferences > MIDI > General.

 

I DONT HAVE A MIDI INTERFACE, WHEN I CHECK PREFERENCES > MIDI > GENERAL, "RESET ALL MIDI DRIVERS" I GET SAME MESSAGE

starting to wish i never bought this novation with automap

please check the MIDI port setting of device “Automap Mixer”.

This is done under Preferences > Control Surfaces Setup...: check the "Out Port" parameter at the top of the Inspector (on the left)?

thanks david, so should the outport be set to impulse and the import abe set to impulse or impulse midi ??

Set both to Automap Mixer.

i am having a terrible time here, every time i try to load logic now, its automatically loading automap,, then it crashes on initialising core audio .. if i hen quit automap, it continues to load

 

my brain hurts

if i quit automap when logic tries to load it, logic continues to load fine. i have to then reopen automap

 

automap is then listed in the in port / out port menu

 

but still i am greeted with this message

all i have is my imac, and impulse 25 .. no other midi interface.
