hungrydave
Any way to slice transients into separate regions?
Eric Cardenas
Enable flex. Control - click ( or right - click ) the region background, then choose Slice at Transient Markers from the shortcut menu (or use the corresponding key command). hungrydave
thanks eric Also do you know how to select multiple regions and quantise them as if they were MIDI events (or fix them to the snap value)
Eric Cardenas
Select them and use the quantise in the Event editor.

jschmidtiii
I've known that key command is around, but I never saw the value in it. Why is that a valuable key command?
Eric Cardenas
I've known that key command is around, but I never saw the value in it. Why is that a valuable key command? Why is any key command valuable? It can be a work flow thing or it can be that some people are more keyboard based, others are mouse based. I find this key command valuable because you can use it even when flex isn't enabled.
jschmidtiii
I'm all for key commands. What's an example of a situation where you would use that key command?
redlogic
Say you had an audio file of bass guitar (or anything)...you could Slice at Transients and convert to an EXS Sampler Instrument.
