Rich7007
I regularly use sound effects in my music and always loved the effects in Logic 8. However, I was disappointed to see that Logic 9 has taken many out. Is it possible to get these back?? Many thanks.
gdoubleyou
Not sure what you mean, but a lot of the sound effects available in Logic came from Soundtrack Pro content. You should be able to get them from your previous backup or from the install DVDs. 8)
David Nahmani
Sounds to me like you may be looking at the wrong library.... which effects are you talking about, where are you looking? Do you realize the library shows you different settings depending on what slot has library-focus on the left channel strip in the Inspector? Click a plug-in or the channel strip setting button at the top of the channel strip to give it library-focus.
Rich7007
Thanks for the replies. The effects I'm talking about are in the Loops Library, then 'FX'. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot in there, but In Logic 8, there was quite a lot more, such as 'Automobile crash' noises, 'Zachary' samples and Beach sound effects to name but a few. Unfortunately, I don't have my old Logic and Soundtrack Pro I really should've kept it I guess, but assumed Logic 9 would have all the previous sounds and more...
